We may receive information about your transaction, such as the payment status, payment method and transaction details necessary to process and administer your order.

We may collect personal information:

How and Why We Use Your Personal Information
We use personal information only where we have an appropriate reason and lawful basis for doing so.
Processing and Fulfilling Orders
We use information such as your name, contact details, delivery address and order information to:
- process your order;
- take or confirm payment;
- arrange production and fulfilment;
- arrange delivery;
- provide order and delivery updates;
- deal with cancellations, returns, refunds and customer-service enquiries; and
- provide personalised products where requested.
We generally process this information because it is necessary to perform our contract with you or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Customer Service
We use information you provide when contacting us to respond to questions, resolve problems and provide customer support.
Depending on the circumstances, this processing may be necessary to perform our contract with you or for our legitimate interests in operating our business and providing good customer service.
Security and Fraud Prevention
We may process information to protect our customers, website and business, prevent and detect fraud, investigate suspicious activity and maintain the security of our services.
We generally rely on our legitimate interests in protecting our business and customers, and where applicable on our legal obligations.
Legal and Regulatory Requirements
We may process and retain information where necessary to comply with applicable laws, tax and accounting requirements, respond to lawful requests or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
This processing may be necessary to comply with a legal obligation or for our legitimate interests.
Marketing
Where permitted, we may use your information to send you news, offers or other marketing communications.
Where consent is required, we will ask for it before sending such marketing. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link provided in the email.
Unsubscribing from marketing will not prevent us from sending necessary service communications about an order or customer-service request.
Personalised Products
Some Ringo Pack products may allow you to submit photographs, names, wording or other content for personalisation.
We use this information for purposes connected with creating, fulfilling and supporting your personalised order.
Personalisation information may need to be provided to service providers involved in producing your order, including our fulfilment partner.
We will not use customer-supplied personalisation content for unrelated purposes unless we have an appropriate lawful basis or your permission to do so.
How We Share Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information in the ordinary meaning of selling customer information for money.
We may share personal information where necessary with organisations that help us operate The Ringo Pack, including:
Shopify — our ecommerce platform and store-hosting provider.
Printful — our print-on-demand and fulfilment partner. Information necessary to manufacture and fulfil an order may be provided to Printful, including customer delivery details, order information and personalisation content where applicable.
Universal POD — our print-on-demand, personalisation and fulfilment partner. Information necessary to manufacture and fulfil an order may be provided to Universal POD, including customer delivery details, order information and personalisation content where applicable.
Google — where you choose to participate in Google Customer Reviews, we provide information connected with your transaction so that Google can administer the review survey.
Payment providers — to securely process payments and transactions.
Delivery and courier providers — to deliver orders and provide delivery services.
Technology and service providers — where required to host, secure, maintain, analyse or support our website and services.
Professional advisers or authorities — where reasonably necessary to comply with the law, protect our rights, prevent fraud or respond to lawful requests.
We only share information where there is an appropriate reason to do so.
Google Customer Reviews
We participate in the Google Customer Reviews programme, which allows customers to choose whether they would like to receive a survey from Google about their shopping experience with The Ringo Pack.
After completing an order, you may be shown an optional request asking whether Google may email you a customer-review survey. Participation is voluntary. Google will only send the survey where you select “Yes” or otherwise provide the required permission. Declining will not affect your order.
If you choose to participate, we may provide Google with transaction information necessary to administer the programme. This may include your email address, order number, country of delivery, estimated delivery date and information identifying the products purchased.
Google may use cookies, web beacons or similar technologies in connection with the Google Customer Reviews programme. You can manage cookies and similar technologies through the cookie and privacy controls available on our website and through your browser settings.
The Google Customer Reviews survey is separate from The Ringo Pack’s marketing communications. Agreeing to receive a Google survey does not subscribe you to The Ringo Pack marketing emails, and declining the survey does not unsubscribe you from any marketing communications you have separately requested.
Google processes information received through the programme in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy.
Shopify
Our store is hosted and powered by Shopify.
Shopify processes information about visitors and customers to provide its ecommerce platform, checkout, security and related services.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies.
Some cookies are necessary for the website and checkout to function correctly. Other technologies may be used for purposes such as remembering preferences, measuring website performance, understanding how visitors use the store or supporting marketing where applicable.
Where consent is legally required for non-essential cookies or similar technologies, we will request it through the cookie/privacy controls provided on our website.
You can use the available privacy or cookie controls to manage your choices where applicable.
ICO guidance requires users to receive clear information about cookies and, where cookies are not strictly necessary, consent may be required.

- fulfil and administer orders;
- provide customer support;
- comply with tax, accounting and other legal obligations;
- resolve disputes;
- prevent fraud; and
- establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Different types of information may therefore be kept for different periods.
When information is no longer reasonably required, we will delete it, anonymise it or otherwise deal with it appropriately, subject to technical and legal requirements.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure.
However, no method of transmitting or storing information electronically can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Please do not send sensitive payment information or passwords to us by ordinary email.
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
International Transfers
Shopify, Printful, Universal POD, Google and other service providers involved in operating our store may process information in countries outside the United Kingdom.
Where personal information is transferred internationally, we and/or the relevant service provider will use applicable mechanisms intended to protect personal information as required by UK data protection law, such as UK adequacy regulations or appropriate contractual safeguards where applicable.
UK data-protection rules contain specific requirements governing international transfers of personal information.

Our website may contain links to websites or services operated by other organisations.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of websites that we do not operate. If you follow a third-party link, we recommend reviewing that organisation's privacy information.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us inappropriately, please contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
